Hi! I’m Leslie Tatiana.
Welcome to Dancing in Your Love! DYL is a place where I share life lessons about every season I go through, but also tips on how to to be a good friend, a good girlfriend, and how to put together CUTE outfits of the day! My Instagram is filled with lots of outfits, but also lots of #DYLJournals where I share my heart and a short lesson I learned/am learning. My goal is to create a community filled with women who know they are loved in every season and no matter what they have done or are going through- women who dance in His love. I was born and raised in Houston, Tx, but my family is from Colombia. My first language was Spanish and I didn’t even speak English until I was about 8 years old. Like a true Colombian, my love for dancing, specifically Salsa, is real! I can dance the night away and be the happiest girl on earth!
I love reading but I really don’t do it as much as I would like to. I love self-help books, and murder-mystery novels, even the cheesy love story books. As a young girl, reading was the only thing I loved to do. I would read books in a week and ask my parents for another one immediately after. I love learning everything I can about whatever it is I’m working with/on. I like to know the ins and outs of a program or a system, and become an expert so everything flows better. Basically, I like being a nerd and a know it all for a lot of different subjects.
I love intellectual conversations and listening to Erwin McManus on the podcast app! I love being in control and having a plan, but I also live off random adventures.
I used to be an extrovert but I feel the older I get, the more introverted I become. I love being at home and lounging around or in a smaller group of people. But I love people so much and love encouraging others that I find myself in group settings a lot and I tend to enjoy them too. So technically I’m an Ambivert!
I am very talkative and have to remind myself to slowdown and let others speak or to ask questions instead of just telling stories the whole time. I get distracted easily and can multitask so well, but I have horrible time management skills and am literally late everywhere I go.
I have a really bad sweet tooth and can eat candy/sweet desserts for breakfast, lunch, and dinner if given the option. I also have a “spicy tooth” (just made that up) and LOVE it, even though it’s so bad for me.
Thank you for stopping by! XOXO
I just want to say thank you! Your blogs give me hope! I thought I was the only one waiting on the Lord, to be still, to not date,to not flirt, to just focus on me. Your words bring me so much courage, I pray that you stay strong to your words on your journey and that God keeps using to encourage other girls.
So glad to hear this!! Feel free to email me if you ever want to chat and encourage each other! Dancinginyourlove@gmail.com
